Hi, everyone. I've just returned from a regional meeting of the Garden Writers Association over in the Puyallup area. We had a tour of an amazing private garden in the Edgewood area as well as a tour of Ed Hume's seed-processing facility and the gardens on the plant's property.
As you can see by the above photo, West-side gardening guru Ciscoe Morris (left) was on hand as well. That's Ed Hume on the right - one of the most genuine, gracious and generous people I know.
We all enjoyed seeing the children's garden that Ed helped design. I'm certain that any kids who visit the garden will have great fun exploring it while learning a lot in the process. It's so important that we teach our kids all about gardening, particularly to help them understand where our food comes from.
