Well, he's baaack. Or at least this buck looks like the same one that was standing in our lavender patch the other day. (sigh)
Even though deer aren't supposed to be able to jump across a wide fence, this guy apparently didn't read the book because he sailed over a garden bench and right through the opening above our arbor gate! Very frustrating.
He seemed most interested in munching on the crabapples in our backyard. My husband Bill finally shooed him out of the yard a few minutes later. Looks like we really need to work on our deer fencing project in earnest next spring.
