There is an event tomorrow and Friday, Nov. 18 and 19, that will put you right into the spirit of the season: The Greenery's annual open house and poinsettia sale. The Greenery is located on the north side of the Spokane Community College campus, located at 1810 N. Greene St., in building 10. Click here to view a map of the campus so you can easily find the greenhouses.
They will have poinsettias available in a large assortment of colors, as well as mums, houseplants and fresh flowers. All of these plants have been grown by students who have also created fresh flower arrangements that are available for sale as well.
The open house and sale hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Greenery's regular hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays through Dec. 10.
