We just returned from a 3-day weekend in Leavenworth where the fall colors positively glowed throughout town and up on the surrounding hillsides. While we were strolling by the shops downtown, I saw this window box filled with pots, winter squash, pumpkins and ornamental kale. Isn't this a clever idea?
The winter squash and pumpkins look cute resting in the pots and the pots raise them up to a level where passersby can easily see them. Ornamental kale is usually available at nurseries like Stanek's, Ritters and Northwest Seed & Pet.
I wanted to share this with you as an idea for fall decor, especially with Thanksgiving on the way.
