Garden tour photos

Well, even though it has been a dreary, drizzly day, a friend and I braved the rain to go on the "Spokane in Bloom" garden tour. It featured six gardens in the Nine Mile Falls and Colbert area. They were great fun to walk through and I was happy to see a lot of umbrella-toting attendees because I really wanted the tour to be a success. Kudos to all of the gardeners who shared their gardens with us. You have much to be proud of!

If you would like to see the photos I took while on the tour -- and this certainly doesn't cover every garden we saw -- go to this link and look for the link that says "play slideshow." I decided to upload the photos to Shutterfly, which is a free site, because there were too many to display here.

Oh, and if anyone knows the cultivar name of the coral-colored peony pictured above, please let me know. It is absolutely glorious!
