Last year, I bought a cool-looking Shasta Daisy called 'Banana Cream.' It features pale yellow petals -- something you don't ordinarily see on Shasta Daisies. This year, it is becoming nicely established and has been blooming its little heart out.
When I went to take this photo of it, I was pleasantly surprised to find how beautifully it is coordinating with the purple blossoms of the Siberian Iris, Bee Balm and a Clustered Bellflower. Isn't it nice when things work out, often by accident?
