Well, we've had quite the weather today, haven't we? A little sunshine, rain, snow, wind, graupel and hail. That must mean it's March in Spokane (you know the saying, "If you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes!").
I suppose you avid gardeners are a little disgusted and I can't say as I blame you. But there are plenty of gardening-related things you can do indoors. I mentioned about re-potting houseplants yesterday but there's also organizing your seeds for the season, making a list of when to start seeds indoors -- and the best part of all: actually planting some seeds indoors.
So far, I have artichoke, tomato, pepper and eggplant seeds started in my kitchen. I don't plan to start any other veggies until the middle of next month (corn and pole beans) but I am going to start some annual flowers from seed in the next week or so. That will be a fun diversion.
Anyway, hang in there and the weather WILL get better. I promise.
