Here's a benefit of being a follower on this blog: you get to find out about great events before many of them are officially announced to the public.
Each year, the WSU/Spokane County Master Gardeners put on some awesome classes for beginning through experienced gardeners on some very useful subjects. That's because we want you to be successful!
Here's what's coming up:
Beginning Gardening: Basic gardening, growing vegetables, berries and small fruits, and growing easy flowers. These will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday mornings, from March 2nd through March 23rd.
Grow Your Own Food: Raised beds (I'll be teaching that one), starting tomatoes, culinary herbs, and growing heirloom vegetables. These will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoons, from March 2nd through March 23rd.
All of the classes are extremely informative, fun and reasonably priced. You can either sign up for a whole series (Beginning Gardening or Grow Your Own Food) for $40, or you can take your pick of classes for $12 each. For more information, contact Anna Kestell at (509) 477-2195. Hope to see you there!
