I wanted to give you a heads-up about a fun event scheduled for next Saturday, Apr. 27th: The WSU/Spokane County Master Gardeners' Plant Sale and Garden Fair.
It will feature hundreds of perennials from the gardens of Master Gardeners (including many from my own garden), a home and garden shop with all sorts of fun and funky items for sale, the plant clinic will be open, there will be kids' activities, a silent auction, and all sorts of informational booths and demonstrations.
This event is free to the public and will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Spokane County Extension center, 222 N. Havana St. which is just south of the Indians Ballpark and fairgrounds.
Here is a link to more information about it: Garden Fair and Plant Sale. I will be manning the raised-bed gardening booth indoors on the lower level so be sure to drop by and say hello!
All proceeds will help support the Spokane County Master Gardener program.
