Don't forget that today is the WSU/Spokane County Master Gardener Plant Sale & Garden Fair. It runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Extension center, 222 N. Havana St., just south of the Indians Ballpark and the Fairgrounds.
Of particular note is that we'll have grafted tomato plants for sale. There has been a lot of interest in them ever since I wrote about the many attributes of grafted tomatoes last Sunday so be sure to come early!
In addition to the grafted plants, we have a huge selection of perennials and other plants for sale, which all came from Master Gardeners' gardens (including mine). There will be a yard and garden sale, a boutique, kids' activities, and the plant clinic will be open to answer your gardening questions.
Our foundation's web site has more details. Hope to see you there! Even though the weather isn't quite as delightful as it's been the past few days, this is always a fun, FREE event.
