We all love freebies, right? Well, I recently heard of a new publication on the WSU web site that is available online for free. It is called "Home Vegetable Gardening in Washington."
In it, there are details on growing 70 different types of vegetables, seed-starting, planting transplants out into the garden, how to deal with pests using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) methods, and how to know when it's time to harvest your veggies. It also contains detailed maps on climate zones within the state of Washington, which is really helpful since our weather can really vary throughout the state.
