Here is a link to my column in today's edition of The Spokesman-Review: Tomatoes dominate a productive season. It's a wrap-up of how most of the vegetables in our garden performed this year. I'd have to say the tomatoes, winter squash, pumpkins, corn and onions were the best of the lot. We will have plenty of yummy produce to enjoy throughout the fall and winter months.
I hate to tell you this but it's also my final column of the 2013 gardening season. I always write from February to October so that time is upon us already.
Even so, you can still read about gardening-related things on this blog and on my Facebook page (facebook.com/susansinthegarden). And I'm always accessible by email at inthegarden@live.com. I'm really good about responding promptly to my emails so please feel welcome about contacting me that way.
It's hard to believe we're well into autumn already, with the coldest months ahead of us, but there are plenty of garden-related topics to talk about -- even when the snow is flying. So please visit me often on this blog and on Facebook and we will make the most of the off-season!
