Well, as we were finishing up dinner tonight, two Mallard ducks flew by and plopped down into our pond. Donald and Edna duck took a nice swim around, munched on a little algae near the base of the waterfall, and then did some preening while standing on a couple of rocks.
It was fun seeing them at home in the pond. This happens once or twice a year and it's a great opportunity to watch them interact up close. Remember that you can click on the photo to see a much larger image.
